And ended with a 9. Here in the Valley of the Sun, we call that cold.
I like cold.
I unearthed my brown pea coat that sat woefully at the bottom of the Winter Box. (And happy is what I was when I could button it.)
I did not forget my hat. Because My Man really likes it when I wear hats. And I really like it when he likes it when I wear hats.
Then I went out to buy more milk chocolate chips. When I got back, I pranced around the kitchen and made Grandma Day fudge. Because one can only read DeNae's Ode to Fudge month so much without spontaneous fudge-making. I'm only human.
I was trying to get My Man to regret the fact that he had to read 300 pages on "Deferring Loss or Gain upon Incorporation." That means taxes and stuff.
I think I succeeded. He regrets it. Especially when I licked the spoon suggestively.
I'm a toiling wife.

you are delightful.
Of course, your little 5 and 9 temperature is pathetic compared to my 8.
Yep, that's it. Just an 8.
8 degrees.
And covered in snow.
YEAH, BABY!
awesome hat. even awesomer that the coat was able to be buttoned.
i made fudge today, too. happy are we! happy are we!
Oh dear, I really am going to miss having a Mesa Christmas this year. I like the idea of the spoon licking, but then I'd have to make something.... oh I am SO conflicted!
Yeah, started with a minus, ended with a one. I'm so living in the wrong place.
No way would my husband have made it through the spoon licking. Heh heh heh...
I have the same coat in red. Must go hat shopping now...
You are deliciously evil, you know that?
the hat is fabulous...and so are you!
thanks for visiting me at my blog!
you are so much fun!
I love the hat... but when it's 59 here, we throw our coats out the window, roll down our windows and shout for joy. Enjoy your cold weather!
As a woman who spent the last two days under blizzard warning and had to dress my children for FORTY-FIVE minutes to leave the house because wind chill temps are 25 BELOW zero, I hate you.
But it's not so much hate as it is jealousy, and wishing I had a cool hat so I don't look like a homeless person.
And my husband reads LOTS of books like that (on desk now: White Collar Crime Law and Practice) and regrets it daily, so luckily I don't have to do much spoon licking to rub it in. Countdown to graduation is on. . . .
I wish I could be a hat person. I just look ridiculous.
I covet your 5 and 9 other than I have lots of lovely snow (it is only lovely when it is fresh and I don't have to travel in it). I wouldn't be wearing a coat if I had a 5 and 9- we woke to a MINUS and a 4- our high today might reach all the way up to 10-
Ummmmm Ya - Our temp up in Flag this mornin- 1. There was no other number - just the poor lonely 1!
Meanwhile your coat and hat are soooo cute! I always want to wear hats but I don't think I have the face for it! I love your hat though! Soooo cute!
You always make me smile. I just wanted to make you aware of that. . .
Hooray! The Salute to Fudge saves another marriage!!
And you are one hot tamale in that cute hat. (Have you read Go Dog, Go? I love the part where the lady dog asks the man dog, "Do you like this hat?" and he keeps saying "No. I do not like that hat." Until she finally puts on this monstrosity and he says, "Yes! Yes! I like that hat! I like that party hat!" Every time I put on a hat, I say that. That's right. I am THAT clever.)
Love the hat (and the earrings)! I think my head is too big for hats. I am a great hat appreciator, though.
I won't even comment on the weather in Utah. Though, I just did. Happy hat-wearing!
We opened the day yesterday with a - followed by a 2. Yipes!
You and your house are both so stinkin' cute! I love pea coats too!
So I would like Grandma Day's recipe please....although I think it is close to the one on the back of the fluff jar.....it had better warm up before we get there!!!!
