- Little Prince and the neighbor kid previously known as the Biggest Brat Ever are now the bestest of friends. I think it has a lot to do with the trampoline Santa Claus brought for Christmas.
- Ouro Branco had ear surgery last week, and things are astonishingly, miraculously, unbelievably better than they were.
- Also, I have been pregnant my WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE AND I SWEAR IT WILL NEVER END.

Why is it that 8 months is bearable and still kind of exciting, but 9 months is just poop? I think if we could peek at Heavenly Father's toolbag for making us understand patience, "9 months pregnant" would be one of the most effective ones in there.

Aren't ya glad you're not an elephant??? 22 months gestation??? That's like almost TWO YEARS!!!! Makes 9 months fell like a cake walk???

Yeah, the first eight months last eight months and the ninth month lasts 16 years. We're with you, baby! Hang in there!
(And it's ok that the kids are friends now. This won't be the end of their tumultuous relationship, but clearly there is something in their friendship that your child values. I'm glad things have improved, though. That's so hard.)
