Unfortunately it's not just at Christmas that I often peer into a bowl of softening butter. It's more like a two or three times a week all year long thing. SO BAD.
Looks like someone's getting ready to make fudge...
Although there's enough butter there for at least 3 batches, which means you'll need 1.6 tons of chocolate chips and an upturned Volkswagen to cook the marshmallow mixture.
But I have to admire your priorities!! You go, girl!
(And after the holidays, I'll let you borrow my jaws o' life to wedge yourself out of your front door and into the gym.)
I have this cinnamon role recipe that I only make twice a year... April general conference and Christmas. Holy smokes, do they make my arteries cry. But, oh, how awesome they are. And also sinfully full of butter.
I LOVE shortbread cookies. Add chocolate and walnuts. Um yeah.

Mmmm, looks like a tasty snack right there. Are you going to ruin it by adding other ingredients?
I think pregnant women deserve this snack whenever they want. Which is why I can't post pictures of my backside when I'm pregnant.
I might as well just slather it on my hips, because heaven knows that's where it's going anyway!
Delicious!
I think that's enough butter to make about 60 boxes of mac & cheese... or 2 bites of whatever you made. Yum!
Yeah, unfortunately I really like butter.
My arteries are a wee bit glad too...

I feel the same way. But, then, if it were more often we'd all kill ourselves! :)
Looks like you're making something yummy!
Are you going to rub that on your belly to ease the stretch mark damage?? ;0)
I'm sorry, but I MUST know what is is that all that butter will become. The not knowing is killing me. Killing me, I say!
It became three batches of shortbread cookies. Which were then dipped in chocolate. And then in chopped walnuts.
Oh. My.
