Elmer

This is Elmer.

Actually, his name is Elder Steven Jackson, but I like to refer to him as the Elmer's Glue of our family. He's the one who makes everyone laugh - the one with the witty comment - the one calling everyone together for games.

He's my baby brother.

And he's serving a mission.

I really miss him.

Right now he's in the MTC - that's Missionary Training Center - studying the gospel and French. And the gospel IN French.

Yeah. He's going to Paris.

Squee!

So ya wanna write him? How sweet would it be if he got a bunch of random letters from random people, telling him how awesome he is. (Cuz he is. Awesome. True story.) He wouldn't be able to write you back, of course - he has very limited time for letter writing - but seriously. HOW SWEET WOULD IT BE?

K.

Go to DearElder.com. In "Select a Mission," choose Provo MTC - FREE, and "write a letter." The MTC Box number is 95, the mission code is FRA-PAR and the estimated MTC departure date is 0928. Got that?

HOW SWEET WOULD IT BE?!

Hey you, I've written the letter but it won't send without a first name! =)

I just sent an e-mail. It was partly in French. Please tell him to NOT tell me if my written French stinks.

So, my mom was telling me about the Sacrament Meeting before Elmer left. She said how deeply impressed she was with him- that she knew he was a good kid, but had no idea about all the wonderful things he has done, and the lives he has touched.

Made me happy inside. He's going to bring a big ball of sunshine to France.
