In which I shall speak words of wisdom

So I'm convinced that PLANNING is the key to SUCCESS.

And I am equally convinced that sometimes you need to throw the plan out the window.

Because sometimes, when you're making dinner, you notice a couple hot air balloons landing the next block over.

And you have to turn the burner off - and go see it.

And sometimes, when you just got back from a long bike ride, you find out that your HOA is releasing 250,000 ladybugs.

And you have to guzzle your water - and go see it.

And sometimes, your kids are knock-you-down precious and wonderful and perfect -

And you should put down what you're doing - because you need to see that, too.

A - You live in a way hipper neighborhood than I do. I suppose I could turn off the burner to spy on the empty nesters playing canasta?

B - Thanks for the reminder about the last one. I definitely don't absorb the perfection of my children enough.

Oh, it doesn't take much to get me to turn off the burner! I am soooo easily distracted! I WISH I was distracted by hot air balloons in my neighborhood though! That is awesome! I think you've got your priorities right for sure!

Signed Guy up for Kindergarten today...it's official.

Way to take life by the horns. I worry too much about my to-do list and I don't see enough.

I want you to be my mother. Because of this post, I'm going to pray tonight that I can be more spontaneous and joyful...like you.

Yes. I would have to say you are an A+ planner. (did your hubby tell you how his google calendar got mixed up with Tims?) wink, wink!

Totally fun pics!!
